What if “just getting older” isn’t the real reason you feel this way?

Fatigue, brain fog, weight that won’t move, sleep that doesn’t restore. Most of it is reversible at the cellular level.

The frame

This isn’t a fix. It’s a becoming.

Healing isn’t a pill. It isn’t a protocol someone hands you. It’s the slow, deliberate act of saying goodbye to the version of yourself that was sick, and building, cell by cell, the version that’s ready for the next chapter.

Cellular health. Mental clarity. Spiritual alignment. The body knows what to do. Most of us just need someone to read the map and walk it with us.

You’re not crazy

You’ve been told it’s stress. It’s age. It’s in your head. It’s not.

If you’re here, you’ve probably done the rounds. Bloodwork came back “normal.” A new prescription that didn’t fix anything. A specialist who shrugged. Maybe years of it.

What you’ve been feeling has a cause. The bone-deep fatigue, the foggy mornings, the weight that won’t move, the irritability that doesn’t fit who you are. Most likely several causes. They’re sitting at the cellular level, where standard labs don’t look.

  • Tired after a full night’s sleep
  • Brain fog mid-afternoon
  • Weight that won’t move despite the work
  • Mood swings that don’t match your life
  • Gut issues that come and go
  • Skin, hair, or nails that aren’t behaving
  • Sleep that’s broken or unrefreshing
  • A general “I don’t feel like myself”

The signature instrument

Most doctors look at your blood. I map your metabolism.

The Organic Acid Test is a urine-based functional lab that measures 76 biomarkers in a single sample. It sees what standard panels miss.

It shows me how your cells are making energy. Whether your gut is carrying bacterial, fungal, or yeast overgrowth. How your brain is producing dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin, and how that’s affecting your sleep, your mood, and your stress response. Which nutrients you’re running short on. How much toxic load your body is carrying.

You collect the sample at home. I interpret it. We then meet for a one-hour Report of Findings and you walk away with an understanding of what’s behind your symptoms, and the best path forward to finally address them. That’s a lot better than another guess!

  • Cellular energy

How well your mitochondria are making ATP, the molecule every cell needs to do anything.

  • Gut microbe activity

Bacterial, fungal, and yeast markers your bloodwork can’t see.

  • Neurotransmitter balance

Dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine production and breakdown.

  • Nutritional status

Where you’re depleted in B vitamins, vitamin C, glutathione, and key amino acids.

  • Toxic load

Oxalates, environmental toxins, and how well your body is clearing them.

  • 76 biomarkers, one panel

Cellular energy, gut, neurotransmitters, nutrients, toxicity. All in a single test.

  • At home, no needles

Collect the urine sample at home. Mail it in. No drive to a clinic, no blood draw.

  • Lab-guided, not lab-pretty

Every recommendation traces back to a real number on your test. Not a hunch.

Who you’re working with

I spent 15 years being dismissed. I’ll never do that to you.

I’m Tali Kentof, a functional wellness practitioner with a holistic doctorate in functional medicine. After a career in pharmaceutical sales, I left the conventional model to focus on personalized, root-cause wellness and cellular health. I help midlife professionals reverse fatigue, brain fog, and rapid aging, without being told it’s “just part of getting older.”

Before I founded LearnU, I spent fifteen years looking for answers to my own unexplained symptoms. Over 50 of them. My story began with a few symptoms that were brushed off by multiple doctors: extreme fatigue, joint pain, weight gain. Years later, I was on eight pharmaceuticals and could barely walk.

To save my life, I went back to school. Certified health coach, master herbalist, and eventually a holistic doctorate in functional medicine. And along the way I found what conventional medicine had missed for years. My root cause issues were cellular. And cellular issues are reversible.

That’s what I bring to my clients now. Real testing. Lab-guided recommendations. And the education beyond protocols that directs sustained transformation. Because the work isn’t just chemistry. It’s becoming the version of you that’s ready to feel alive again.

The path

Your path back to vibrant health

Four steps. The first one takes fifteen minutes and costs nothing.

  1. Start with a free 15-minute call

First, take the quick online readiness assessment so I know where you’re coming from. Then we get on a no-pressure call. You tell me what’s been going on and what you’ve already tried. I’m listening for one thing: whether you’re ready to take charge of your own health. This isn’t about me selling you on the work. It’s about both of us being honest about whether now is your time. If it is, we book a complimentary 30-minute consult to go deeper into your health story and map what comes next.

  2. Test the right things

Order the Organic Acid Test. Collect at home. Mail it in. We meet for a one-hour Report of Findings, and I walk you through what your body has been trying to tell you.

  3. Walk Out with a Roadmap

A strategic overview based on your lab results that helps identify what may need to be addressed to move toward optimal health. We’ll discuss the key areas involved, from nutrition and supplementation to lifestyle and diet, and map out what the healing process could look like moving forward. No guessing. No spaghetti against the wall.

  4. The becoming

Show up for the work. I show up with you: text access during business hours, modules to study, group calls, and one-on-one sessions. By the end, the version of you that was sick is gone. The new one is online.

Before you book

Questions people ask before they book

If yours isn’t here, ask me on the discovery call.

  • What is the Organic Acid Test, and how is it different from regular bloodwork?

The Organic Acid Test (OAT) is a urine-based functional lab that measures 76 biomarkers in a single sample. Where standard bloodwork tells you whether a number falls inside a population reference range, the OAT tells you how well your cells are actually making energy, how your gut microbes are behaving, how your brain is producing key neurotransmitters, which nutrients you’re depleted in, and how much toxic load your body is carrying. It looks at function, not just status. I use it as the starting point for almost every client because it gives us a real map instead of a guess.

  • How much does the Organic Acid Test cost, and is it worth it?

The OAT is $525 and includes the kit, lab processing, my interpretation, and a one-hour Report of Findings consult. Whether it’s worth it depends on what you’ve already spent looking for answers. Most clients arrive after years of bloodwork, specialists, and protocols that didn’t move the needle. For them, a $525 test that actually shows what’s wrong is the cheapest thing they’ve tried. If you’ve never done functional testing before, the 15-minute call is the right starting point, not the test.

  • What does the OAT actually measure?

Five things, all from one urine sample.

    1. Cellular energy. How well your mitochondria are producing ATP.
    2. Gut microbe activity. Markers of bacterial, fungal, and yeast overgrowth your bloodwork can’t see.
    3. Neurotransmitter metabolism. How your brain is making and breaking down dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine.
    4. Nutritional status. Where you’re depleted (B vitamins, vitamin C, glutathione, amino acids).
    5. Toxic load. Oxalates, environmental toxins, and detoxification capacity.

  • Are you a medical doctor?

No. I’m a functional wellness practitioner with a holistic doctorate in functional medicine, a Master Herbalist credential, and Certified Health Coach training. I am licensed through the Professional Wellness Alliance (PWA) and board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I work alongside your physician, not in place of them. Nothing on this site is medical advice and nothing replaces care from a licensed physician.

  • Will my insurance cover this?

No. LearnU is a cash-pay practice. That choice is intentional. Cash pay allows a higher level of personalized care—without insurance dictating your wellness journey.

  • How much does it cost to get started?

The initial 15 minute and half hour consults are complimentary.

  • What can the test show me that my doctor hasn’t already?

A lot. The OAT can identify cellular energy production problems, gut overgrowths your bloodwork can’t see, neurotransmitter imbalances that drive sleep and mood issues, specific nutrient deficiencies (B vitamins, glutathione, vitamin C), and toxic-load patterns. Many clients arrive with years of “your labs are fine” and leave the Report of Findings with a clear picture of what’s actually going on.

  • What states do you serve?

All 50 states. The only caveat is lab kit shipping. There are three northeastern states (NY, CT, and one additional state) where the lab can’t ship the OAT directly. If you live in one of those three and have someone in a nearby state who can receive the kit on your behalf, we can still work together. Coaching, calls, and the rest of the program are 100% virtual and available everywhere.

  • Can I do this if I have a thyroid issue, Hashimoto’s, or another diagnosed condition?

Yes. The OAT and the coaching are designed to complement standard medical care, not replace it. If you have a diagnosed condition, you keep working with your physician for that condition. What I add is the layer most physicians don’t have time to dig into: cellular, gut, neurotransmitter, and nutrient patterns that may be making your diagnosed condition worse or harder to manage. Many clients use my work to make better-informed decisions in their physician appointments.

  • How long until I feel better?

Honestly, it varies. Some clients notice shifts in the first few weeks. Some take longer because the underlying cause has been building for years. What I can tell you is that every recommendation I make is built around what your body is actually showing me on the labs, not a generic protocol.

  • Do I have to go carnivore or do a specific diet?

No. Your diet depends on what your labs show. Some clients do best on a low-carb or whole-food approach. Some need to avoid specific plants because of oxalate sensitivity. Some thrive on a mostly-meat approach. I figure out what fits your body, not what’s trending.

  • Can I keep my current doctor?

Yes. I work alongside your physician. The OAT and the coaching are designed to complement standard medical care, not replace it. Some clients bring lab results to their doctor as a starting point for a conversation that wasn’t happening before.

  • Do you work with men or just women?

Both. My current client base skews 40s-60s and includes professionals, retirees, and men and women from all walks of life. Men come to LearnU just as often as women.

  • What if I’m already on supplements?

Bring them. Part of the Report of Findings is auditing what you’re already taking against what your body actually needs. Most clients leave their first plan with fewer supplements than they came in with. Better targeted, more strategic.

  • What does the one-on-one coaching actually involve?

Inside the work, you get scheduled one-on-one sessions with me, text-message access during business hours, a private learning library of modules to work through at your pace, and a group call once a month with other clients on the journey. The exact scope (length, session count, what’s included) is built around what your labs and your readiness call for. You’re never alone in this.

  • Where does my health information live? Is it HIPAA compliant?

Once you’re a client, everything lives in Practice Better, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. The 15-minute discovery call happens over Zoom. The public website doesn’t store any health information.

  • Why is this by application?

I work with a small number of clients at a time and I take the work seriously, which means I take who I work with seriously. The 15-minute call isn’t me convincing you that I’m the right person. It’s both of us finding out whether you’re ready to take charge of your own health. If you’re not there yet, that’s a real answer and I’ll tell you. When the timing’s right, this work is some of the most important you’ll ever do.

  • What if it isn’t a fit?

That’s what the 15-minute call is for. We sort fit before any money or labs are involved. If we both decide it’s not the right time or the right match, we say so on the call, no hard feelings. If you’ve moved forward to the OAT, refunds are evaluated case-by-case before lab work has been ordered.

  • What does “the becoming” mean?

It’s how I think about real healing. You don’t get fixed. You become someone new, at the cellular level, the mental level, and the spiritual level. The old version of you is who got sick. The new one is who shows up after the work. The lab data and the protocols are how we build YOU. The mindset work is how we help you transform and sustain your best self.

Take the first step

The journey back to you starts here.

Start with a 15-minute call. No pressure, no sales script. You tell me what’s been going on and what you’ve already tried. I work with a small number of clients at a time, so I’m honest on the call about whether this is your moment. If you’re ready, I’ll tell you. If you’re not yet, I’ll tell you that too.
